My family checked in Easter weekend and it was severely overcrowded. It didn’t feel like there was enough staff to deal with this size of a crowd. The lobby was also overrun with rowdy teenagers and there was a very noticeable marijuana smell throughout the lobby. Since there was no visible security, this was not a surprise. One one evening my family was threatened with physical violence for walking through a crowd of teens blocking passage through the lobby.
The waterpark is really not worth the expense. The lazy river had a long wait due to the large crowd and teens cutting lines, there really was no organization whatsoever. The one pool appropriate for my 5 year old was closed, the guard refused to answer any questions on when or if the pool would reopen.
My son did enjoy Sunday morning at the arcade since the crowd was fairly light and there were no complaints about the room (Ocean View). Food options were very limited so we ate our meals at the Hard Rock.
Cons:
-Our first room was dirty with a previously broken lock, permanent odor in the bathroom, and the AC didn’t work.
-General safety concerns. Cracks in arcade windows like someone had previously tried to break it, anyone can access elevators.
-The indoor pool was way too crowded and loud for young children feel and be safe, even early in the day.
Pros:
-Lots of games to play that we all enjoyed (mini-golf, claw machines, and mini-bowling. Our youngest (3yo) really loved mini golf and the carpets.
-After speaking with one of the front desk associates, we were upgraded to a room that was much better and we were able to relax.
-Our experiences with staff were all positive, and most all people we came across were friendly.
-The self-park entrance wall murals were nice, as well as the art work in our first room. Everything would obviously benefit from upgrades but i hope the original art stays.
I’m genuinely shocked by how horrible my experience at Showboat Casino Hotel was. The room was beyond filthy—stained linens, dusty surfaces, and an overall motel vibe that made it hard to relax, let alone feel safe or clean. The phones in the room did not work at all, so there was no way to call the front desk for help or assistance. Completely unacceptable and potentially dangerous in case of an emergency. The shower kept turning on and off mid-use, and the mini fridge was completely broken, so storing anything cold was out of the question. Just one issue after another.
Worse, the lobby was filled with unsupervised teenagers blatantly smoking weed and loitering, turning what should be a professional environment into a chaotic hangout spot. The entire atmosphere was loud, uncomfortable, and incredibly unprofessional.
This place has completely lost its standard, if it ever had one. If you value cleanliness, peace, or even basic hospitality—do not stay here. I regret not checking out the second I walked in.
Most of the issues stem from the room: our room was in the New Orleans section. The room was incredibly dated, the toilet had a slow leak around the foundation, the wall outlets were so worn-out that our cell phone chargers would fall out instantly, as many other reviews mention, the sheets were just a basic sheet thrown over the mattress (not even fitted),the hot water in the shower was lukewarm at best. We were so disappointed We ended up checking out a day early. I will admit the room appeared to be clean for the most part, just needs A LOT of updating.
The hotel as a whole needs to be cleaned up - scuff marks on the carpet and walls, trash strewn about in the lobby, lazy permissive parents letting the kids run up and down the hallways at all hours of the night. The front desk did not answer any of our calls.
The parking garage is actually where the got it right, paying digitally for days at a time allows you to go in and out during your stay without a hassle. Also we didnt have issues with the elevators; they seemed to all be working and were able to use them to get around quickly. The view from our room as also nice( we could see the bay and ocean).
I've stayed in 1 and 2-star hotels, I don't mind them if that's what was marketed to me. But this hotel was advertised as a 3-star, and it absolutely wasn't. They need to either step it up and update their building and rooms and clean the place up, or charge less. I don't relish this, but I will not stay here again unless Im in a real pinch.
My Husband went to speak to the manger later on that day. The manger’s name was Amanda. She was so pleasant and told us she was also from Boston. She gave us a bigger suite on the newer part of the hotel on the 24th fl which exceeded my expectations. The room was big and had a great view of the boardwalk and beach area, along with a soak in tub and dining area, living room etc. After such a bad experience , she turned it all around.my kids loved it because there was so much to do , car racing, big game room and a water park. Thanks to Amanda for making this a great Birthday. I plan to return in the summer.
During my stay, I experienced a long wait for the elevator, and almost 4 of them were out of order due to maintenance issues. My mom stated she found tons of hair on the floor in our room bathroom. I was also underwhelmed by the hotel's waterpark, which THEY claim is “the largest in the world” , a statement I find questionable!
Forgot to mention, there’s barely any good places to eat inside this hotel. If you want a great eatery place to dine with family , I suggest Sugar Factory in the Hard Rock Hotel , which is about a 6 minute walk, and Ruth Chris Steakhouse, which had excellent menu options (and not located in Showboat) & finally , yesterday morning when I woke up , I was unkindly greeted with a random woman coughing very loudly and to a baby crying (which made me have to blast my music to make it stop).
Overall, my stay at the hotel was average. The only aspect I enjoyed was the waterpark, but besides enjoying it , the waterpark DOES NOT even provide towels!
If you want to stay at a hotel that has an abandoned buffet spot , wall paper tearing and gives a 80’s vibe & has LIMITED views from your hotel room and barely has any good food spots inside ; Do NOT stay at Showboat!

However, my biggest issue was with the so-called “presentation.” If you’re thinking about attending it, don’t. It was a complete nightmare. I felt like I had walked into a high-pressure used car dealership. The sales team was incredibly aggressive, dishonest, and manipulative. They repeatedly lied to me, claiming my maintenance fees would increase by over 100%, trying to scare me into upgrading. I ended up stuck there for over an hour and a half—far from the “quick 30-minute presentation” they advertised.
To make matters worse, after an online review the the “manager” finally got involved, he apologized but then tried to gaslight me about what had happened. He promised me a free one-week vacation as a consolation for the awful experience, supposedly valid anytime/any where within the year. Unsurprisingly, I’ve yet to receive anything.
In short: the hotel is fine, but the sales presentation is a scam. Avoid it at all costs—it was the worst part of my stay and left a very sour impression
We had an excellent experience during our stay at Club Wyndham Skyline Tower in Atlantic City. We stayed in a one-bedroom apartment with a full kitchen, and everything was clean and well-stocked with all the amenities we needed. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, and even the pull-out sofa was great for sleeping.
The location is perfect—an easy walk to the casinos and the boardwalk. Every staff member we encountered was incredibly friendly and helpful. When we needed assistance setting up our Alexa, someone came right away and even followed up to make sure everything was working properly.
Parking was convenient and made it easy to get to and from our room. The pool and hot tub were both clean and relaxing, and the sundeck was a great place to unwind. We also enjoyed the on-site movie theatre and the full schedule of activities offered at the club.
Overall, we had a fantastic stay and will definitely be returning. Highly recommend!

This entire experience has been one endless cycle of stress and frustration. Your sales presentation dragged on for five hours instead of the promised two, just to sell me on a “valuable investment” that conveniently excluded skyrocketing maintenance fees. Those fees now weigh on me like a financial ball and chain, and as a single mom with a new job, I can no longer afford this mess.
I’ve reached out, explained my hardship, and asked to return this timeshare. But instead of offering any help, it seems you’ve chosen radio silence. Funny how you’re in Chapter 11 bankruptcy, yet still refuse to offer any relief to the people keeping you afloat. How thoughtful.
If anyone’s even considering Boardwalk Resorts, take my advice and steer far, far away. You’ll save yourself time, money, and endless frustration.
Rooms were a decent size, having a kitchenette was nice. Having a $50 fee for any unwashed dishes seemed a little crazy. The elevators were TERRIBLY SLOW! We wasted over an HOUR waiting for the elevator throughout our 2 day stay. The views were great and the Kelsey & Kim restaurant inside had great food! The room was not cleaned very well, trash and food on the floor by the nightstand which was noticed when using the outlet. Missing bathroom supplies and had to call room service, they came in and questioned it like I was lying. The cherry on top: our toilet overflowed the night before check out, water filled the bathroom and over flowed onto the carpet by the time we got it stopped. Called for service and someone came to stop the overflow and said they would send room service. Stayed up waiting to use the bathroom before bed, not easy to do with a 5 year old. After 30-40 mins we called for service again. After an HOUR AND HALF we had to slip shoes on to use the bathroom. ROOM SERVICE NEVER SHOWED UP! Called again in the morning and they said room service would be up by 8 AM when they arrived. Waited in the room as we did not have any towels, they brought us a bag of towels and never cleaned the bathroom!!! It was still never cleaned by the time we checked out at 11am. Not to mention you have to strip down all the bedding before leaving, wash all the dishes and gather the trash and towels. Not what I was expecting while on vacation.
The elevator wait is horrible.
I guess the young staff at restaurants don't smile and say good morning anymore. I left after 10 minutes waiting for a coffee (for the second time) and there were only a few patrons. It was first thing in the morning. I think I was invisible.
The room location and view was nice. And the room itself was clean and spacious.
This is a one and done for me.
I never received any room service besides security harassing me and leaving notes on my door about a vacuum. The pool and hot tub have hair and whatever else floating around the water, the Baseboard radiator by the hot tub is rusted, has no cover and you can see all of the debris, insects, and trash left unattended to underneath. The pool guy is usually rude, inattentive and looking to close before the pool hours are over.
Most of the amenities close way too early, and some days the restaurant or bar settings isn't even open. Very disappointed. Very disgusted.
Stay was a zero star.
When I tell you the rooms was beautiful, the rooms were beautiful. Two bathrooms one a full size bathroom. The other one is a half size bathroom.
Stainless steel refrigerator microwave just overall, just a very warm, romantic, cuddly feeling.
And the view at night is beautiful. You can hear the water crashing against the rocks. Very meditating.
Reasonable price. Definitely coming back. Couldn't ask for a better room. 💗
When we signed up for this, we were completely misled. They told us it was a great financial investment, that we could pass it down to our kids, and it sounded so easy to use, rent out, or even sell if needed. None of that turned out true—trust me, we’ve never even been able to use the thing! What they didn’t tell us is that the maintenance fees would keep going up every year, turning this into a financial nightmare.
The sales process was also super high-pressure. We were stuck in a presentation for hours and had multiple salespeople pushing us nonstop. They made so many promises they couldn’t keep, and now we’re stuck in this mess that they won’t help fix.
Honestly, we’re fed up. The stress and financial burden is too much. We need real answers and actual action to get out of this. Ignoring us isn’t okay—we need Flagship to actually step up and help.
Kenneth & LaNisha
We reached out to Howard Alter, the Vice President of Owner Relations, hoping for some accountability. Instead, we received nothing more than a generic, copy-paste response that completely ignored our specific concerns. Since then, silence. What kind of customer care is this? Are we not worth a proper response? Or does Mr. Alter think he’s above addressing the real issues affecting loyal clients like us?
We have no family, no heirs, no one to transfer this membership to, and yet we’re stuck in an impossible situation. This feels like a blatant exploitation of customers with no other options. A viable resolution must exist to relinquish this membership without further financial strain, but apparently, that’s not something this company or Mr. Alter is interested in offering.
Sure, you've expressed sympathy for our financial circumstances before, but guess what? Sympathy without action is meaningless. We are not asking nicely anymore; we are demanding that you fix this situation. Howard Alter, as Vice President of Owner Relations, should be embarrassed by this level of disregard. Your hollow response and subsequent silence are unacceptable and disgraceful.
This matter is urgent, and we’re sick of the wasted time and indifference. We demand a clear solution immediately—REAL action, not another template response. Enough is enough. Step up and take ownership of this issue, before your reputation reflects the disaster your company has become.
