Staying at The Joule Hotel with balcony in Dallas is a masterclass in urban sophistication. From the moment you step into the lobby—a striking blend of historic Art Deco grandeur and modern avant-garde design—you’re immersed in an atmosphere of curated luxury. Your balcony-equipped room serves as a private sanctuary, where floor-to-ceiling windows open to reveal sweeping views of downtown Dallas’ glittering skyline, including landmarks like Reunion Tower and the bustling Main Street District. By day, dive into the hotel’s amenities: plunge into the rooftop pool (seemingly suspended over the city), unwind at the subterranean Spa, or explore the hotel’s rotating art collection featuring works by world-renowned artists. At night, the balcony transforms into a front-row seat to Dallas’ vibrant energy, with the hum of the city below and stars overhead. Whether you’re savoring a farm-to-table meal at CBD Provisions or strolling to nearby attractions like the Dallas Arts District, The Joule’s central location and balcony-enhanced rooms ensure every moment feels exclusive, immersive, and distinctly Dallas
A special thanks to John Paul who can achieve the impossible (securing a bar seat in a sold out restaurant). He will guide you on where to go and especially where to dine. I want to live there
We booked with AMEX fine hotel and resorts which has a few additional benefits… however none of them were really given.
Early check in - not granted … check in happened an hour late than standard check in times
Room upgrade - not granted
Check in champagne - not granted - they had some available just didn’t offer it to us after they finally got our room ready… not a huge deal but for a 5 star hotel these things need to be done
Room service - 1.5 - 2 hours to deliver breakfast.. since their cbd provisions restaurant is closed it’s the only option
The people are really nice, the rooms are nice, the lobby is gorgeous, the location is good. However the execution of the services is what needs to improve. I’d rate our stay so far as a 3.5 …
They did say they had a wedding aand were extra busy… but why book rooms if you can’t keep up a level of service?
Room service was awesome, transportation accommodations were perfect, friendly but not intruding staff.
Special shout out to Mahmoud on the rooftop pool bar for making the evening feel special. He really set the tone for our weekend with that first impression.
Having lived in Dallas most of my life, I had always heard great things about this iconic property but never had the chance to stay until this year. I was truly impressed.
The lobby features beautiful moving art, and the library dedicated to Taschen books is thoughtfully curated. The restaurant is fantastic as well. Everywhere you look, there is attention to detail and to the guest experience, exactly what you would expect from a Leading Hotel.
The bed was very comfortable, and the room was both stylish and functional. As a Leaders Club member, I appreciated that they also honored a late checkout for me.
Special thanks to Rio at the front desk, who raised the bar and set the tone for a stellar stay. I will definitely be back the next time I am in Dallas
Ashley at the pool on Saturday was an absolute treat to have! We were celebrating a birthday and she was a Rock Star!!! Attentive, friendly, and was there at every step to make sure we had a fabulous time!
We will be back soon!!
Our stay was absolutely incredible! From the moment we arrived, the service was beyond anything we could have imagined—every detail was handled with such care and excellence. This was our second time staying here, and it was just as unforgettable as the first. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, and the entire experience truly sets this hotel apart. We can’t wait to come back again!
The rooms are spectacular — high ceilings, carefully layered materials, and a stunning combination of textures like leather and textiles. The design is warm, luxurious, and intentionally understated. It is an appreciated style — subtle elegance that does not overwhelm but invites you in. Every detail feels thoughtfully placed, from the custom headboards to the calming color palettes.
As an interior designer from Miami, I was inspired by how this hotel integrates architectural interiors with storytelling. It is rare to find a space that reflects not only a city’s aesthetic but also its emotional character. The Joule does just that — and more. It is a place where you do not just stay — you feel, experience, and remember.
Gym- A little small, but equipment was fine and some variety as expected. If more than 4 people wanted to use it at the same time, you'd feel it and likely not be comfortable.
Pool- infested with Pigeons and the whole pool area gets very little sun due to location and surrounding taller buildings. Don't expect to go for a swim in the sun (i was there in October)
Staff- 90% friendly and good. Bar opening times in the evening are a little hit and miss though.
Outside (not a Joule thing) but a lot of homeless people in the city alongside folks with some clear mental health challenges- it's quite sad really
I recently stayed at the Joule during a work trip to Dallas—my first time visiting the city. The hotel itself was comfortable, well-maintained, and in a great location. However, what truly made this stay memorable was the outstanding service from the staff.
After checking out, I realized I had left something incredibly valuable behind—my wedding ring. Naturally, I panicked, thinking it was lost forever. But the hotel staff went above and beyond, searching my room and eventually finding the ring stuck between the bed. They not only contacted me immediately but also ensured it was safely mailed back to me.
This level of care and dedication is rare, and I can't thank the team enough. If you're looking for a place where hospitality truly shines, I highly recommend The Joule. A special shoutout to David in security who is a life saver( and checks in on my ring from time to time) and Kyle in management. It is rare to find people like this! I will definitely stay here again on my next visit to Dallas!

When it comes to luxury and unforgettable travel experiences, Dallas never fails to impress. My exploration of this vibrant city led me to another exceptional hotel that offers a unique twist on the concept of a balcony suite. This time, I found myself in a 392-square-foot balcony hotel room, offering breathtaking views of the picturesque lake, all while enjoying the finest luxuries that Texas has to offer.
The Balcony Suite: Step onto the spacious balcony, and you’ll be greeted with a magnificent view of the tranquil lake and the bustling city of Dallas. The 392-square-foot balcony is a stunning vantage point that invites you to relax, unwind, and soak in the serene ambiance. This is a dream come true for any influencer looking to capture mesmerizing photos with the city and the lake as the backdrop. The unique blend of cityscape and natural beauty is a rare gem that Dallas offers.
In-House Restaurant: What sets this hotel apart is its exquisite in-house restaurant. From savory breakfast options to mouthwatering dinner selections, you can savor the flavors of Texas without ever leaving the hotel. The restaurant’s chic and contemporary design creates an ideal atmosphere for a delightful dining experience. And if you’re a foodie like me, you’ll appreciate the convenience of having fantastic dining options just an elevator ride away.
Indoor Pool and More: This hotel goes above and beyond to ensure that guests have every opportunity for relaxation and entertainment. The indoor pool is perfect for a refreshing swim, regardless of the weather outside.
The location is another plus. It’s conveniently close to great restaurants, entertainment, and major attractions in Irving. Whether you’re here for business or leisure, this hotel is a perfect choice. I’ll definitely be returning and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and luxurious stay.
The hotel location is great, and the hotel facilities are top notch. All the staff are professional and polite. I would definitely recommend staying at this Marriott property
The Good:
Room Design: The rooms are nicely decorated with contemporary touches, thoughtful lighting, and a beautiful painting on the wall. The nook by the large windows is a great spot to relax, read, or enjoy the view.
Amenities: The room included a coffee machine and a complimentary bottle of water, which is always a welcome touch.
Facilities: There’s a well-equipped workout room and a small but sufficient swimming pool on the first floor. Both are great additions if you like to stay active during your trip.
Location: The hotel is conveniently located about a 10-minute walk from the Irving Convention Center—perfect for anyone attending an event or conference there.
Lake View: If you’re booking a room, definitely request a higher floor with a lake or pond view. It’s absolutely worth it. the view is stunning (check out the attached picture).
The Not-So-Good:
Housekeeping Disturbance: Unfortunately, housekeeping knocked on my door loudly at 8 AM on the day of my checkout and even attempted to enter. This happened again at 10 AM, even though checkout time is 11 AM. It felt intrusive and unnecessary, and it disrupted what should have been a relaxing morning.
Other Notes:
There was a slight musky smell in the hallways and the room, but it wasn’t overwhelming—just something to be aware of.
Overall a good place to stay. I would recommend it.

My exploration of Dallas continues, and this time, I had the pleasure of experiencing the epitome of luxury in the heart of the city. Nestled in the bustling center of Dallas, this hotel with a balcony suite, boasting a 392-square-foot terrace, offers an incredible view of the city’s iconic skyscrapers. Prepare to be captivated by the grandeur of Dallas while indulging in the finest luxuries Texas has to offer.
The Balcony Suite: As I stepped onto the expansive balcony, I was greeted by a mesmerizing view of Dallas’s impressive skyline. The 392-square-foot terrace provides an awe-inspiring perspective of the city’s towering skyscrapers. It’s the ideal spot for influencers seeking to capture stunning photos that showcase the urban charm and architectural beauty of Dallas.
Full-Service Spa: This hotel takes luxury to the next level with its full-service spa, where guests can pamper themselves with a wide range of treatments and therapies. After a day of exploring Dallas’s attractions, I indulged in a soothing massage that left me feeling completely rejuvenated. The spa’s serene ambiance and expert therapists ensure a world-class relaxation experience.
Resort-Style Outdoor Pool: One of the highlights of this hotel is its resort-style outdoor pool. Surrounded by lush greenery, the pool area provides a tranquil escape in the heart of the city. Whether you’re taking a refreshing swim, lounging by the poolside, or capturing the beauty of the city’s skyline from this unique vantage point, it’s an oasis that invites you to unwind and enjoy every moment.
Pet-Friendly: For those traveling with furry companions, this hotel is pet-friendly, ensuring that your four-legged friends can also partake in the luxury experience. The hotel provides amenities and services to cater to the needs of both guests and their pets.
Fitness Center: The 24-hour fitness center is a haven for fitness enthusiasts. Equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, it allows guests to maintain their workout routines while enjoying panoramic city views. It’s an ideal space to break a sweat and capture captivating images for your Instagram profile.
We booked through Amex and were upgraded to a suite upon check in, which was lovely. Very comfortable and beautifully and thoughtfully decorated. They thought of every detail (except I would recommend adding a full length mirror).
We had a good meal at Group Therapy, which was also beautifully decorated and the bar staff was great. The fitness center was very well done and kept spotless. We also found the daily coffee bar on our floor and afternoon tea in the lobby to be very classy and a nice touch.
I found the staff to be perfectly fine. Maybe not the over the top service you would find at a 5-start hotel, but they were kind when they greeted us and helpful when we needed it.
I do agree with the other reviews that you will hear outside street noise from the rooms. The hotel is in a busy part of town. As a light sleeper, I did not have issues sleeping, but would recommend coming prepared with a white noise app downloaded if you are noise sensitive as well.
Overall, a very impressive stay and will absolutely stay here again!
At first, the front desk receptionist was very kind and assured us there was no problem, and that they would change the booking for us to something equivalent. However, when the front desk manager, Casey, arrived, he demanded a significant extra payment. Not only was he unfriendly, but his entire attitude was unpleasant and unwelcoming.
The next morning, after waking up a bit late, we simply asked for a small extension, an extra hour or so before checking out. Again, Casey insisted we would need to pay more. What made this even more unreasonable was that the hotel was far from full occupancy; the place was nearly empty, so there was absolutely no issue in allowing a late checkout without charge.
It felt like every request came with an additional demand for payment, with no real sense of hospitality. Overall, the service and treatment we received from Casey, the front desk manager, were unacceptable, unfriendly, unhelpful, and far from the level of customer service one would expect. Unfortunately, the value did not justify the price, and we left feeling very disappointed.
Whether it was remembering our drink preferences, checking in to make sure we had everything we needed, or just bringing great energy to the pool area, Remy went above and beyond. It’s rare to find someone who makes hospitality feel so personal and effortless.
Would come back 10/10
The good part:
The food at the hotel is decent, and they offer a free shuttle service that can take you to nearby places within a three-mile radius.
However, my experience here was frustrating and disappointing.
I stayed for three nights and had an issue with one male staff member who acted more like a pushy car salesman than a hospitality professional.
This hotel is right next to a construction site. At night, workers use heavy machinery to load trash into dumpsters, making constant, loud beeping noises. I was woken up at 1 AM and 5 AM, and the noise was unbearable in the quiet of the night.
I brought this up to the front desk at 7 AM, and they offered to switch my room. I asked if I needed to move my belongings before leaving for work, but they reassured me that I could do it later when I returned. Trusting their word, I packed all my things and went about my day.
When I came back in the evening, the male staff member at the front desk—who I hadn’t spoken to earlier—refused to swap my room. Even after I explained the morning conversation again and again, he blamed me for not moving earlier and was rude and dismissive. It was clear he had no intention of honoring what his colleague had promised.
After a frustrating back-and-forth, he finally agreed to the room change—but by then, the damage was done.
Their dishonesty and terrible customer service showed that they only care about keeping guests locked in, not about providing a good experience.
I initially planned to give this hotel a 4-star review, but after being lied to and disrespected, I can barely give it a 2-star rating.
Save yourself the trouble and stay somewhere else—this hotel does not deserve your money.
ZaZa Austin Downtown is our go-to hotel whenever we visit Austin. The service is outstanding, and the staff is always attentive to every detail. They make sure you have everything you need, from water and ice to complimentary snacks and drinks in the lobby.
Our first stay was during ACL Music Festival, and we loved that they provided free transportation and fun festival goodies like temporary tattoos, stools, and accessories. The hotel itself is beautiful, impeccably clean, and incredibly comfortable. The beds are amazing, and the decor is elegant.
We returned for Thanksgiving and my birthday, and they made it extra special by upgrading us to a Bungalow suite—it felt like a stylish studio apartment with a stunning view. They even surprised me with a bottle of champagne. Room service is convenient, especially with their late-night menu.
Another highlight is their incredible spa, perfect for unwinding. The location is amazing—right in the heart of downtown, within walking distance of great restaurants, the Capitol, and so much more. We love the area!
ZaZa Austin Downtown always exceeds our expectations, and we can’t wait to come back!
Regret to say that I was disappointed with my experience at Hotel Zaza. While the room was clean & bed was comfortable, service was cold and unwelcoming. I am not sure if I was greeted with a smile by a staff member at any point during my stay, & frequently got the sense that staff members felt annoyed or burdened by minor requests.
Valet was visibly frustrated when I asked him to keep my car out as I checked in & dropped off my bag. Front desk met me with a brusque "no" when I called down to see if they happened to have a phone charger (which many hotels of this caliber would). Cleaning staff member looked at me in perplexity when I asked how to access the stairwell & inquired why I would want to take the stairs. Front desk attendant was cold when activating my room key for an extra hour despite granting me a late check-out.
Ultimately, every interaction with staff members felt like a business transaction - formal, stiff, and uninviting. At this price point, I would expect more an effort to make guests feel comfortable.
Not to mention, I had an unpleasant interaction with another guest who made no effort to control his dog as it sniffed me, poked its head between my legs, pawed at me, & barked on the elevator; he completely ignored me as we got off the elevator. Overall conveyed an air pretentiousness.

As soon as I stepped into the hotel’s lobby, I was transported back in time to the era of Mid-Century design. The hotel’s commitment to preserving its historical charm while offering modern amenities is evident in every corner. It’s a true gem for history enthusiasts and design aficionados, and it offers a glimpse into Dallas’s rich past.
The Balcony Suite: One of the highlights of this historic hotel is the personal balcony that comes with each terrace suite. Stepping onto the balcony, I was greeted by the sights and sounds of the city. The view from the balcony allowed me to enjoy the city’s energy while being immersed in the comfort and privacy of my room. It was a truly unique experience that made me feel like a part of Dallas’s vibrant life.
Luxury and Amenities: The hotel offers spacious and luxurious guest rooms equipped with all the modern conveniences you could desire. From smart TVs and free Wi-Fi to minibars and Nespresso machines, it’s clear that no detail has been overlooked. Room service is available 24/7, ensuring that guests are well taken care of throughout their stay.
Resort-Style Outdoor Pool: One of the many perks of this historic hotel is its resort-style outdoor pool. Whether you’re looking to take a leisurely swim, soak up the Texas sun, or simply unwind with a book, the pool area provides a serene oasis within the bustling city.
Dining and Entertainment: The hotel boasts an array of dining and drinking venues, including a swanky speakeasy that’s perfect for an evening cocktail and a rooftop pool and bar where you can enjoy panoramic views of Dallas. These venues are a testament to the hotel’s dedication to providing guests with an all-encompassing experience that satisfies all their cravings for food and entertainment.
1 - A roach appeared on our bed 5 min after entering our room so I had to take care of that.
2 - The mini fridge didnt work so the $200 dinner we couldnt finish at kitchen & kocktails was lost.
3 - I paid for breakfast with my hotel reservation but had leave on an empty stomach. In the morning I like to check out the restaurant while my partner prefers to stay in the room. So usually I go down, get some coffee and get our food delivered to our room. This is something simple that a 2star hotel has been able to accommodate for me without problems. Well the hostess believed that was the case as well because she told me that I could order from the bar and just give my room details for them to take. I even specifically told the person that took my order I wanted it taken to my room and they nodded their head so I took it as a yes we can do that. Something that room service confirmed as well, all they had to do was pass the order over to them. But nope our food sat there all morning while we waited in vain. While I would like to add that the restaurant manager refunded the food to my account, the hotel had already charged me for breakfast before I arrived so the money is gone and I doubt it'll be refunded to me. The restaurant manager did say he would talk with the hostess about letting guests know the restaurant can't ensure room deliveries because they are a different department from hotel room service, but I think all that's needed is good communication between the two. Also it is not just on the hostess, the kitchen staff are the ones that processed the order and tried to charge it despite me telling them I need a room delivery.
The very BEST thing about this hotel is the staff and their commitment to making sure guests have top tier experience. We needed a bottle opener and Michele at the front desk gave us her personal one. Skyler also gave amazing service and made sure we got our food delivery. I had the best Kentucky Mule of my life at the roof top bar, which has a great lounge area and pool. The view is good but the vibes are better.
The speakeasy venue presented an issue with fruit flies; I personally addressed two, and a third was observed in active flight. Upon inquiry, a staff member acknowledged the persistent nature of the problem, indicating that trap deployment and drain cleaning efforts had been undertaken with limited success. The "sports bar" is primarily a bar area equipped with pool tables, cornhole, and a two-lane bowling alley. It was noticeably understaffed, with a single bartender managing both drink and food orders, and also responsible for delivering food orders to the restaurant and retrieving them due to the absence of a runner or bar back.
Overall, my experience was subpar. Considering the price point, I believe superior accommodations can be found at establishments such as Tru, Hilton Spark, or Embassy Suites.
When booking, we noted that it was a special occasion. The hotel acknowledged this with a cupcake and card, but it didn’t feel like the elevated or memorable experience we expected from a hotel of this reputation. The room view was very disappointing (looking out onto a rooftop/brick wall), and some of the fixtures in the room were worn or damaged. We also received multiple notices about hot water being shut off overnight, which added inconvenience during our stay.
On the day of checkout, housekeeping knocked on our door at 9:30 a.m. — even though checkout wasn’t until 11. To top it off, we tried to have breakfast at Over Easy, the restaurant inside the hotel. After sitting for 15 minutes without anyone acknowledging us, I went to the hostess stand only to be met with an attitude, as if asking for service was too much. We left disappointed.
The positives: staff communication via text was prompt and polite, and the location is convenient. However, overall the stay fell far short of expectations, and we left feeling it wasn’t the special experience we were hoping for.
(Updated September 24, 2025)
Update: After my original review, I was contacted by Statler management and spoke directly with the hotel manger Christian. I appreciated that he took the time to listen my concerns and work toward a fair resolution. As a result of that conversation, the hotel agreed to credit one full night of our stay.
While our anniversary stay itself was disappointing, I do appreciate the responsiveness and professionalism in the follow-up. This showed me the Statler does care about guest feedback and is willing to make things right.
Signed Disappointed Customer
Negatives included a very strong cigarette smell in the hallway and a strong scent in our hotel room as though they were trying cover the cigarette smell. It bothered my eyes and lungs enough that we asked to move rooms. The hotel staff was accommodating and understanding. We started on the 7th floor which was definitely stronger smelling then the 6th, but I would say that our 6th floor room and hallway smelled as well just not quite as strong. I wasn't sure if this was carry over from all the years people smoked in those hallways or someone sneaking it in their room, but it was very strong. We also left the pool area about 8:30 as it became an adult environment vs kid friendly. A group of people brought their music, drinks, and smokes and others came as couples to the lounging areas. It just didn't feel kid friendly at this point, so we headed back to our room. And in all honesty, I would say the hotel itself felt much more like a place for adults vs kids.
There is also no parking designated for non-valet hotel guests. You have to walk to a shady garage that isn't owned by the hotel.
Other than that, it was very clean and pretty.
Definitely not 4 stars though.
First off, the vibes—pure mid-century magic. Walking in, I half expected to see Don Draper sipping an Old Fashioned in the lobby. The decor is sleek, stylish, and just the right amount of retro without feeling like a museum.
The rooms? Gorgeous. Comfy beds that make you question all your life choices regarding mattress purchases, sleek decor, and windows that make Dallas look like your personal kingdom. And the best part? The rooftop pool—because nothing says luxury like sipping a cocktail while pretending you’re in a music video.
Speaking of drinks, the bar scene here is elite. The bartenders know their craft, and the cocktails are dangerously good. One drink in, and I was feeling sophisticated; two drinks in, and I was convinced I should buy a fedora and start calling people “kid.”
The service? Impeccable. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and somehow managed to make me feel like a VIP, even though I definitely did not arrive in a Rolls Royce.
Long story short—if you’re coming to Dallas and want a mix of history, luxury, and just a little bit of rockstar energy, The Statler is your spot. I’ll definitely be back

We stayed in Richard’s Penthouse Flat, and overall it was a very good experience with some standout features and a few disappointments.
The Good:
The wraparound balcony views of downtown Dallas were absolutely breathtaking and easily the highlight of the stay. The room itself is very artsy with a great layout, and we loved having a refrigerator, freezer, and ice maker. Being able to cast shows and music from our phones to the TVs was super convenient. The Toto toilets were fancy and honestly fun — the warm seat and bidet/dryer were a great touch. The gym is very nice and modern, and although we stayed in the winter, the pool area looked like it would be a great place to hang out with food and drinks in warmer months. I also appreciated having a kettle in the room to boil water for tea and coffee. We ordered room service for breakfast and really enjoyed it (though the toast wasn’t quite toasted). The overall vibe of the hotel is sexy, chic, and artsy — even the red lighting in the elevator felt very “Virgin” and on brand.
The Not-So-Good:
The flat has both a full bath and a half bath, but the Toto bidet function in the primary bathroom did not work. There was also a beeping noise near the refrigerator that could be heard in the living room (thankfully not in the bedroom). The ironing board was broken and couldn’t be used at all. The wraparound windows have drapes and blackout curtains controlled by a panel, but they wouldn’t close unless we physically pulled them shut. The bedroom doorframe was visibly damaged and looked a bit run down.
Overall:
We enjoyed our stay and loved the style, views, and amenities, but for a penthouse-level room, some maintenance issues were disappointing. The hotel has a great vibe and a lot of potential, but it’s starting to show some wear and could benefit from better upkeep. Still a good stay, just not quite what I expected for the price and room category.
A sincere thank you to Nora and the entire team for the warm hospitality and a beautiful room with an incredible view. Virgin Hotels Dallas truly sets the standard in the city from the front desk to the valet, every touchpoint was exceptional and made my evening feel especially memorable.
While room service was excellent and the overall vibe of the hotel remains strong, the cleanliness of my room did not reflect a premium property. When sunlight hit the quilt on the bed, it revealed a very concerning level of dirt and debris hidden beneath the surface. For a hotel at this price point, this is unacceptable.
I informed staff at checkout and was told, “We try to switch those out — I guess that one was overlooked.” That response, along with the condition of the bedding, left me feeling unsettled and unwilling to return.
Despite the great location and atmosphere, this latest experience was enough to ensure that it will be my last stay here.
The hotel itself is beautiful. The housekeepers take care of each room with a meticulous attention to detail. The coffee shop was delicious, providing me with fuel to get through each day. The reception staff was lovely and kind, as we continued to extend our stay until my husband was discharged. I am so grateful for this hotel and the staff this past week!
The rooms and showers are so big and beautifully designed. The coffee shop on site is amazing. The staff are sooo nice. It was honestly the best hotel experience I have ever had.
There is a really good breakfast place down the street called Ascension Coffee right down the street we would go every morning. There is also an amazing dinner spot nearby called Ferris Wheelers Backyard and BBQ. The hotel bar and restaraunt are really nice too.
It's in a great walkable area which is safe and quiet at night. I was really happy with our stay. If I return to Dallas I would love to stay here again. It was so much fun!
I stayed here for my birthday.
The staff was amazing, everyone from the valet team, to Arnulfo at the front desk. Arnulfo was so friendly helpful and very accommodating. I told him it was my birthday and he made sure I had a nice view for the weekend. Just a kind person.
Restaurant was nice and the breakfast was really good. I will be back!!!
The entire facility had a modern, stylish feel, and every detail was well thought out. The restaurant and bar downstairs were exceptional, offering great food and a lively atmosphere. One of the standout features was the amazing coffee shop, which had a great selection, including vegan options. Additionally, the hotel provided a driver service to a nearby restaurant, which was a thoughtful touch that made logistics easier for our group.
Overall, Virgin Hotel Dallas exceeded our expectations, and I’d highly recommend it for both business and leisure stays. Looking forward to returning!
Our first day checking in, my luggage was lost, oddly enough they had a clothing pop up in the bar! Bought some items to get me through.
The front door staff was always there opening the door and asking about our day, or evening. Remembering the small details about the happenings we chatted about. The shuttle service took us places nearby, up to 3 miles which is huge for two visitors that typically Uber everywhere.
The cafe was above and beyond our expectations. Honestly, this must be a great place to work, all staff seems very content to be here and it shows.
Oh, can’t forget the rooms. We had a room with the ability to separate the bathroom/shower/vanity and sink from the living/sleeping area. Mini fridge has everything you could possibly want as far as cold drinks, a kettle with tea/coffee bags for in room brewing and a fun snack bar!
Keep making your employees happy, this is by far the best hotel stay I’ve ever experienced.
UPDATE: after booking our room with Capital one travel and having a bunch of perks like free breakfast and $100 room credit I did notice we were overcharged by almost $200 and hardly any of our credits were applied. I would have rated a 4.5 if that was an option but I did take a star off because there was back and forth to have the bill corrected.
No, not all rooms have a balcony. However, the hotel offers a selection of rooms and suites with balconies, and you can request a room with a balcony when making your reservation.
Smoking policies vary from hotel to hotel. Some hotels have designated smoking areas on the balconies, while others may have entirely non-smoking policies. It’s essential to check with the hotel’s front desk to understand their smoking regulations.
The rates for balcony rooms may vary depending on factors such as room size, view, and availability. It’s best to check with the hotel’s reservation team for specific pricing.
