Why Choose a Las Vegas Hotel with a Balcony?

There’s something magical about stepping outside your room to take in the neon glow of the Strip or the dramatic desert landscape beyond. Whether you’re sipping morning coffee or enjoying a nightcap under the stars, a private balcony adds that extra touch of Vegas indulgence.

Tips for Booking the Perfect Balcony Room

  • Book Early: These rooms are popular and often sell out quickly.
  • Specify Your View: Some hotels offer city views, while others face the mountains. Know what you want.
  • Check the Weather: While Vegas is generally sunny, occasional wind or rain can impact balcony enjoyment.
  • Consider the Floor: Higher floors offer better views but might not be ideal for those with a fear of heights.

The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas: The Gold Standard

When it comes to balcony views in Vegas, The Cosmopolitan sets the bar impossibly high. This luxury resort features “oversized, residential-styled living spaces, many of which feature private terraces that provide breathtaking views of the iconic Las Vegas skyline” (The Cosmopolitan).

What makes The Cosmopolitan special is the variety of terrace options. Their Terrace Studios offer either one King bed or two Queen beds, with some providing direct views of the famous Bellagio fountains. For even more luxury, the Terrace One Bedroom Suite includes a Japanese soaking tub, while the Wraparound Terrace Suite offers—you guessed it—a private wraparound terrace with panoramic views.

Beyond the rooms, The Cosmopolitan delivers with its exceptional Restaurant Collection featuring world-class chefs, vibrant nightlife at Marquee Nightclub & Dayclub, and three distinct pool experiences. The resort’s “urban chic” ambiance and art installations throughout create an atmosphere that’s as visually stimulating inside as the views outside.

This hotel is a great location on the strip to other surrounding casinos. Good restaurants and loved the balconies. Our first room on floor 36 was a bit grimy (stains on furniture, not clean walls) and then our water stopped working from 10-3 pm. Hotel first insisted that it was a maintenance thing and water would be back on in an hour…went out and came back to still no water at 2 PM. They did upgrade our room to one on floor 42 after going down to the front desk which was much nicer so we did get it worked out. I would still recommend this hotel to others!

Amazing rooms. The lobby is nice. Rooms have balcony. Something most other hotels don't and the views to the bellagio fountains are amazing. Got a nice upgrade to the wrap around suite. One of the best rooms I would say in their inventory. Room is spacious. Free parking if you stay from my understanding. Good service from front desk agent as well Pedro I believe was his name.

I loved our room. Open air balcony overlooking the Fountains at Bellagio and Las Vegas Boulevard. I had a Suite with a sitting area and a bedroom. Refrigerator and a Japanese style soaking tub. Lots of closet and storage space. Chelsea Tower, high floor, North side, most desirable.
Easily one of the best properties we've stayed at in the MGM portfolio! The staff and amenities were outstanding. We had a free upgrade to the Terrace Suite Founatin View, and it was beautiful! The room was outstanding and came with a jacuzzi tub! Our view from the terrace was outstanding during the day/night. We have no complaints on the room or casino.

5 Stars – Unforgettable Stay at The CosmopolitanThe Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas is truly one of a kind—one of the only (if not the only) Vegas resorts with a balcony, and WOW, what an experience! Waking up to that breathtaking view and enjoying one of the most memorable breakfasts ever via room service was an absolute dream. The room design was stunning, with an incredible interconnected shower-tub layout, a spacious lounge area, and a beautifully appointed bedroom. It felt luxurious, romantic, and perfect for my husband and me.While the casino draws in most visitors, our room was a peaceful escape from the energy of the Strip. It was the best of both worlds—excitement just steps away but a quiet, intimate retreat when we wanted it. We can’t wait to come back!

The Platinum Hotel

If you prefer a non-gaming, non-smoking environment with more space to stretch out, The Platinum Hotel delivers. Located just one and a half blocks from the Strip, this all-suite property offers private walk-out balconies in every suite.

The Platinum’s suites range from 910 to a massive 2,100 square feet, with options including the Solitaire Suite, Princess Suite (featuring an electric fireplace), and the impressive Marquise Suite with its wrap-around balcony offering panoramic Strip views.

“A consistent highlight across all suites is the inclusion of a private walk-out balcony, offering views of the Las Vegas cityscape,” notes the hotel’s description. Another major perk? Complimentary on-site self-parking—a rarity for hotels near the Strip.

A real hidden gem. Quiet and smells pleasant. Easy to exit (not like a casino hotel) and easy to get an Uber/Lyft anywhere. Or walk. Staff is super friendly. View from the room was amazing. Condo is large and so much better than just a hotel room. Maybe time to change the mattress, but in general everything is in great condition. I would recommend.

On 11/18/24, I booked a reservation at your hotel for 3 nights from January 1st to January 3rd, 2025. I had researched hotels in Las Vegas with indoor pools for my two young boys. Coming from Chicago they were very excited to swim. I called your hotel on November 18th at 3:30 pm, before booking the reservation, and spoke with the operator. My only questions were about the pool. Is it open year-round? I was told yes. Is there any reason the pool would be closed throughout my stay? I was assured, no absolutely not, the pool is open every day. I was, of course, happy with these responses and went ahead and finalized my booking. On 1/1/25, my family arrived at the hotel in the morning to store our bags until our room was ready. We were informed at check-in that the pool was closed for maintenance and would not be open during our stay. Needless to say, my family was distraught. Why were we not informed via email about the pool being closed? I would have changed my reservation. Is it not the responsibility of the hotel staff to inform incoming guests if the amenities they are paying for will not be available? The lack of communication on your part was unacceptable and unprofessional.Furthermore, and even more upsetting was our experience from January 3rd into January 4th, up until we checked out. Our family had had a full day of activities and when we returned to the hotel in the early evening, we needed showers to freshen up. My son started the shower and waited. And waited. The water did not even get warm. It was FREEZING COLD. My husband called down to the front desk and was told nonchalantly that the water heater was not working, but it was fixed, however, the warm water would take a while to get down to the 7th floor because it is at the top of the building. He said, to give it 30 minutes or so. I understand these things happen, so we patiently waited 30 min. Then an hour. The water did not even turn warm the remainder of the night and was still freezing cold the next morning. Both of my young sons had no choice but to take freezing cold showers, and cried while doing so, causing us quite a bit of distress. Again, this is completely inexcusable and unacceptable. On top of that, there was not one attempt to communicate this via the text service- Ivy (855) 640-6594.Garbage cans by the elevator was overflowing with trash and was not changed out the entire 3 nights we were there. Our entire stay was ruined by our horrible experience at the Platinum Hotel. The lack of communication between the staff and the guests is inexcusable.

This hotel is great. Gigantic rooms with full kitchens and balconies. Far enough off the strip to be away from the craziness and cigarette smoke, but close enough to walk easily. Clean rooms. I would absolutely stay here again.

My partner and I had just been told that our reservation with Embassy was canceled with no notice. We had to scramble to find a room since everything was booked this past weekend. Lucky we found this hotel! The front desk and manager were absolutely amazing. The service was amazing, the room was amazing and the location was also conveniently located near everything we needed. After hearing about our experience with Embassy, the manager went above and beyond. We had an amazing time and enjoyed our vacation so much more.

Having stayed at the Platinum Hotel several visits to Las Vegas, I have really grown to love this hotel. Being a world traveler I know the difference when good service is present, when the room is really clean and BTW, fully equipped kitchen, living room, separate bedroom and large bathroom. This hotel is about 3 - 4 blocks away from Las Vegas Blvd. and it does not have a cigarette smoke filled noisy casino. The lobby is quiet and inviting and the 5th floor restaurant for breakfast is the best. One of the highlights are rooms with an unobstructed view of the Sphere.

Hilton Vacation Club Polo Towers Las Vegas

Located directly on the Strip, Hilton Vacation Club Polo Towers offers suite-style accommodations, many with Juliet balconies. While not as spacious as full balconies, these still provide fresh air and views.

The 1-Bedroom Suites and 2-Bedroom Suites include these Juliet balconies, along with fully equipped kitchens and separate living areas with queen-size sleeper sofas. The resort’s rooftop pool deck offers stunning views of the city skyline, and families will appreciate the dedicated water park and play area.

Had a good stay at this hotel. Location is everything as it is located centrally to the strip and everything is walking distance. Stayed in a studio and we appreciate that it has a fridge and a microwave. The Towers can use a bit of an update but Hilton says it’s planning to renovate. The elevators were a bit slow and one didn’t work so that was a little frustrating. Property was clean and it was a good value for the room. It’s a vacation club so I was offered a time share presentation which I did because they offer free gifts. I did not buy and still received my gift card. I would stay here again if pricing remained favorable.

Could not have been happier. I came to Vegas for a conference, but our conference hotel was very expensive, so I opted to save money and stay here. Such a good decision! I had a full kitchen, a balcony, a great gym, amazing service, could walk to major attractions, could check out the view from the rooftop. I was too busy with the conference to take advantage of the rooftop pool, but I did see it, and it is very nice. Also, the hotel is so close to the airport, unlike the conference resort hotel which was far further out. I honestly paid less than 2/3 of the cost of the conference hotel and liked my place WAY BETTER, and I just did Uber to and from-- easy! Big bonus if you don't like cigarette smoking, as they don't have a casino, so they don't allow smoking anywhere. Thanks to all the awesome folks at the hotel for the 5 star service as well! I may never come back to Vegas, but if I do, I know where I will be staying. : )

We love the Club Polo Towers. I've brought my family here multiple times. The rooms are spacious and clean. The service here is beyond what you expect. The concierge desk reaches out to you to ask if there are any specifics you need taken care of daily. The location is hard to beat as well. It's almost right in the middle of the strip so walking to either end is a breeze. This location does not have a gaming floor so it's not full of belligerent people and cigarette smoke. Very friendly for young children.

Great location, easy walk to the strip. The suite was comfortable and felt safe. Minor room cleanliness issues 1) some mold in the showers and 2) the sink drains didn't drain smoothly. The bathroom and kitchen sinks would would drain slowly and make some noise as the water drained.

The rooms are clean and spacious but in need of a refresh, though the drapes appear new and the appliances and fixtures are in good working order.Housekeeping every 5 days on the vacation club side is just too long. Three days would be better - even if only to take out the trash and restock towels. These services are available upon request though. The staff are wonderful. Greeted by Sabrina at Reception and she was friendly, helpful, and willing to go the extra mile. Had to get my key re-done and she was just as friendly and helpful. Very pleasant and effective.Troy, the Security Officer, made sure I got my Amazon package and he was also quite friendly. Definitely a theme here and that’s awesome great culture and environment.Wish Polo Towers had a breakfast place onsite. Maybe more than just a coffee bar with a case of donuts inside the mini-mart would be nice too. A spot for a convenient latte, maybe. The mini-mart sells eggs, butter, cream cheese, bacon and other goods which are great if you want to cook in your suite with the full kitchen though.Convenient and budget friendly parking too. $23/day for self parking.

Embassy Suites by Hilton Convention Center Las Vegas

Business travelers attending events at the Las Vegas Convention Center should consider Embassy Suites, which offers Two-Room King Suites with Large Balconies and Two-Room King Suites with Balconies. While primarily catering to convention attendees, these suites provide a comfortable retreat with separate living and sleeping areas.

The hotel’s complimentary cooked-to-order breakfast and evening reception with snacks and beverages add significant value to your stay. Its proximity to the Las Vegas Monorail station also makes it easy to access the Strip’s attractions.

I don’t stay at hotels often, but embassy suites convention center truly impressed me! The staff was welcoming, the room was clean, and the service was exceptional. I accidentally left my makeup bag behind, and they went out of their way to return it to me quickly. Their kindness and professionalism made my stay even better. Highly recommend this hotel—I’ll definitely be back

Our stay at this motel was disappointing. During a busy check in time, there was only one person handling customers, which led to delays. When we used the luggage cart, the front desk staff rudely asked, ‘Are you going to bring that back?. Our room’s carpet had a noticeable stain. Bathroom sink didn’t drain. Parking cost $12.00. Overall, for the price I’d recommend looking elsewhere. Disappointing!!

I had a fantastic stay at Embassy suites by Hilton Hotel! The breakfast omelet 🥚👨‍🍳 was absolutely delicious, expertly prepared by the chef. One of my favorite parts of the stay was the happy hour in the evening 🍹🎉—they serve popcorn 🍿, fresh vegetables 🥕, snacks 🍪, chips and dips 🥑—such a great touch!I was lucky to get Room 730, and WOW 🤩, the balcony view of the Sphere was incredible! 🌍✨ The location is also perfect—close to the Las Vegas Strip and the Sphere, making it super convenient. The only downside was the parking system 🚗⏳—the tap-to-enter/exit device is positioned awkwardly. Even as a tall guy with long arms, I struggled to reach it, hurting my muscles every time. 😣💪 If they fix that, this place would be 5 stars!Overall, highly recommend for a great Vegas stay! 🎰🏙️

Nice workers. Quite disappointed with the room. Noisy water leak in the bathroom vent that was splashing rusty water onto our belongings on the bathroom counter. I covered it with a washcloth, but it still dripped down the wall, pooling on the counter and then on the floor (video attached). Sink stopper didn’t work. Shower was so cold my kids cried and I could only stand to be in there about 60 seconds before it was too uncomfortable to continue. Jacuzzi closed, indoor pool was cold.We stayed on Floor 10 in the room closest to the elevators. The sounds of the elevators reverberate through the structure, waking me up anytime someone uses the elevator (and this is in the bedroom, two closed doors away from the elevators, with white noise playing from my phone all night).Again, nice workers, but not our favorite stay in Vegas 🤷🏼‍♂️

Embassy Suites by Hilton Convention Center Las VegasFrom start to finish, my experience was disappointing.I arrived at the property at 12:00 PM directly from the airport. The response I received was that the room wasn’t ready, which made sense to me since check-in was at 4:00 PM. However, even though the front desk saw me struggling with my luggage, they didn’t offer to store it for me as other hotels do, so I had to rearrange everything back into my rental car. Even at 4:00 PM, the room was not ready, and it wasn’t until 5:10 PM that I was able to check in.I wasn’t offered any water or cookies, as other Hilton properties usually offer to their Hilton members. The room, which was a "conference suite," was poorly maintained. The chairs at the conference table were broken and in very bad condition. The balcony was dirty, the bathroom was extremely unclean with brown stains on the floor, the carpet had stains, the cabinets were scratched, the iron was worn out, and the ceiling light was not working.I informed the hotel staff about these conditions and requested to be moved to another conference suite, but they told me they had no others available due to a supposed event and that all suites were booked. This surprised me because that same day, many suites appeared available on the Hilton app, which shows available options. They offered me a much smaller suite, at a lower price than the suite I originally reserved. Since I had no other option, I asked them to change the broken chairs, but they refused, claiming they had no more chairs available. They said they would fix the ceiling light, but no one ever showed up to do so.The restaurant was not open at 12:00 PM, and it remained closed for the rest of the afternoon. One of the elevators was broken, making it difficult to get up and down to the suite, and there was a lack of support with parking assistance. On the day of my check-out, I asked the front desk if I could get an extra hour to leave the room since my flight was in the evening. They refused, saying they had an event and needed the room, but I observed that the parking lot was 90% empty at the time of my check-out. Not only that, but even though check-out is at 12:00 PM, they started knocking on my door at 11:30 AM to remind me to leave by noon. Other properties typically offer up to 4 extra hours in these situations.I politely explained to them how important it was for me to have the room in good condition, especially because I am an influencer with 641,000 followers, and I needed to share a positive experience of my visit to Las Vegas with my audience. However, the hotel made no effort to improve their image or offer me the treatment a guest deserves. It’s very disappointing that these issues are happening at a Hilton property, and that the community doesn’t have the opportunity to enjoy a decent stay, especially for what they’re paying.

Staybridge Suites: Las Vegas - Stadium District

Each suite includes a fully equipped kitchen, and many offer stunning views of Allegiant Stadium and the Las Vegas Strip. The hotel also provides complimentary hot breakfast and a Social Hour with free food and drinks on select evenings.

Very nice sized rooms that are kept clean. Love the in room washer and dryer but the washer does take a really long time to wash clothes. The staff was really nice and friendly. The gym was kept clean and the equipment was in good condition. The biggest problem I have is that the shower is very awkward with how they placed the shower head it is makes it hard to move around in the shower. Also there is only one tiny shelf in the shower for personal items if you have more than one botte or item then there really isn’t room for it.

This was hands down the best hotel customer service we’ve ever experienced. We stayed here for a tournament this past weekend, and from the very beginning, everyone I spoke with was incredibly friendly and went above and beyond.Cori was so helpful over the phone, confirming that we could use a space for our team dinner. A few days later, Andrea was equally polite and professional when I called again to double-check that everything was still set. Since we were ordering a lot of food, I wanted to be sure we’d have the space available. And then there’s Ruth—oh my goodness, I can’t say enough about her! She was absolutely amazing, always smiling and eager to help with whatever we needed.Thank you all for making our stay such a wonderful experience!

Shout out to front desk staff Ruth. Great rooms and great location close to strip andWould give 5 stars but it seems maintenance is a real concern. Several rooms were not available. Hot tub heater broken the whole time we were there. Pool was supposedly heated but too cold for my kids which says a lot because they can usually handle it. Visited pools at hotels that friends were staying in and it was much better. All that said, Ruth was super helpful and ran herself ragged to take care of us and other guests. She goes above and beyond.

Amazing staff, impeccable service, incredible rooms. There are too many names to put in here to give kudos to because if I did this, this review would be a novel. Suffice to say, Andrea leads an awesome team! She leads by example and made what was a week gone south into the highlight of our trip! The breakfast setup is a step above the rest. The fitness center is one of the best I have seen on the road, while not largest, it is pretty well fitted for needs on the road. The pool area is beautiful and warm enough to swim outdoors in 50-degree weather. The BBQ area is perfect for small or large groups, and the rooms are set up to make plenty of homemade meals for that "taste of home". I recommend getting a top floor city view room, at night it is very beautiful!

DO NOT book this hotel! No heaters, almost freeze to death, plus plenty of safety and quality of property issues. We stayed there in the middle of November. There were no heaters in our 3 rooms!!! The maintenance staff came to fix the issue, it didn't work. Almost all staff wore the big sweater and one of them even had her own portable heater. In addition, regarding safety and quality of property, the shower door was falling apart, the handle of the partition door between the bedroom and living room was also hanging. Also, all rooms were dirty and there was no curtain for the door that reached the balcony. One room had the opened soda drink left on the floor. These are unacceptable issues for health and safety. It was the worst nightmare in the hotel we have ever met.We requested a refund. The hotel admitted that the room temperature on the night we stayed recorded in the system was lower than the standard regulation. A general manager issued a refund for us. However, after the trip, we still did not get the refund. We contacted the general manager but she avoided talking to us. We kept calling and leaving her the message for more than a week. No response. Finally, we had to contact Customer Care of IHG Hotels & Resorts to open the case for us so we could reach the hotel to get the refund back. Shame on the IHG reputation!

Purchased a Penthouse Apartment from a very reputable and very cool owner, however the hotel staff and management were very rude and unyielding. Just know that if you rent from a private owner, there will still be another $200 for incidentals when you arrive. We expected between $50-100 for incidentals, like 99% of the hotels and resorts we have been to over the course of my adult life. $200 was exorbitant for a 2 night stay. You get it back, 10 days after check out, but if you’re like me, having $200 in limbo for a week and a half, after paying for the trip and room, as well as food, entertainment, drinks, Uber rides, etc… it’s totally too much money to be just sitting around.

Nice place,, just would have been nice if there was no hair on the bathroom floor and in the bed sheets. It would also be great if they had more than 1 paper cup in the kitchen. Some utensils would have help also. When we called and complained the cleaner came and did an ok job. The carpet needed cleaning and smelled.
